The ethos of a healthy lifestyle was instilled in me from a very early age. Some of my earliest memories are of helping my father in his vegetable patch – eating peas straight out of the pod, picking strawberries and raspberries and pulling up carrots. Growing up however, food seemed to become increasingly complicated, tied up in dialogue about body image and confused by a vast amount of unregulated, unsafe diet advice.

I fell into the trap of following numerous fad diets and – far from delivering the glow they promised, they instead made me miserable, lethargic and unhealthily preoccupied with food. It was then that I decided to make the change personally and professionally.
